Memberships

Memberships that renew on their own.

Sell a plan that covers a set number of classes each week, month, quarter or year, or unlimited classes. The card is saved on your own Stripe or Square account and charged again when the period ends. Members book with their membership instead of paying for each class.

Best for: studios with regulars who come every week and would rather pay once a month.

What it solves

Your regulars shouldn't have to pay for every class.

Someone who comes to yoga twice a week doesn't want to enter a card every time they book. A membership charges them once a month, and their bookings are covered until the next renewal. You get income you can count on at the start of each month.

A membership is not a class pass. A class pass is prepaid and runs out. A membership renews by itself until the member cancels, and it belongs to one person, so it can't be shared or used for two classes at the same time.

FullClass charges the saved card itself, on your own Stripe or Square account. The money goes straight to you, and FullClass takes no cut of it.

What you get

Plans that work the way your studio does.

  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. Each plan has its own price and renews on the same day each period.
  • A set number of classes, or unlimited. Unused classes don't carry over. Add a daily limit if you want to stop one member taking three classes in a day.
  • You choose the classes it covers. Cover every class, or only the ones you pick. Courses and private events are paid for separately.
  • An introductory price or a free trial. Charge less for the first months, or nothing at all, and add a one-off signup fee if you like.
  • A minimum commitment, if you want one. A member who cancels early keeps paying until the commitment ends. You can waive it for anyone.
  • Sold from your booking page. A "Become a member" banner above your classes, a link at checkout, and a link for each plan to put anywhere on your website.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on Stripe. Members can join with their phone, and the card stays saved for every renewal. Square studios take cards.
  • Booking with the membership. Members confirm who they are with a code sent to their email. After that their device remembers them, and their booking is covered.
  • Members manage it themselves. From the customer portal they can see what's left this period, cancel, change plan, and pause if you allow it.
  • Fair plan changes. Moving up starts today and charges only the difference for the rest of the period. Moving down waits for the next renewal. Nothing is ever refunded to the card.
  • Failed payments are handled. If a renewal is declined, the member gets an email with a link to pay and the card is tried again after 1, 3 and 7 days. No class is booked on a period that hasn't been paid.
  • Tax and receipts on every charge. Your tax rates are added to each renewal, and the member gets a receipt every time they're charged.
How it works

From first payment to every renewal.

1

Switch memberships on and make a plan

Memberships start switched off. Turn them on in your settings, then set the price, the classes it covers and how often it renews.

2

A customer joins

From your booking page or a link on your website. They agree to the renewal terms, and their card is saved for the next charge.

3

They book with it

At checkout the membership covers the class, so there's nothing to pay. You see who booked with a membership in your bookings.

4

It renews by itself

At the end of each period the card is charged and the member's classes start again. You can pause, change or cancel any membership from its page.

Every plan includes memberships.

There is no extra fee and no cut of what your members pay. A membership covers one person, paid by card. Family memberships, bank debits and late-cancel fees aren't available yet. Studios that sell class passes can sell memberships alongside them, through the same payment provider.
