Booking software for cooking classes

Booking software for cooking classes.

Sell every station at pasta night before you buy the flour. Couples book two spots in one go, add the wine pairing, pay and sign the kitchen waiver, so you know exactly how many people to prep for.

For: cooking schools and chefs who teach at the counter, with a set number of stations: pasta nights, knife skills, baking, kids' cooking camps, and cocktail, mixology and wine tasting classes.

Booking a spot

Twelve stations means twelve spots.

Every spot in a cooking class is a station, a burner and a share of the ingredients you bought that morning. On FullClass, customers pick a date, choose how many spots, add extras like a wine pairing or an apron to take home, and pay. The confirmation lands in their inbox straight away.

There's no account to set up, which matters when someone is booking a birthday present for their partner at 11pm. They book with their email address, and when they need to check the time, we email them a link that signs them in. If your policy allows it, they can cancel from there too.

Sound familiar?

What a cooking school juggles without one.

If you're running classes from a spreadsheet and your inbox, you'll know these.

Guessing the shopping list

Not knowing until the day before how many are coming, so you over-buy or run short.

Group bookings by email

Four friends, four emails, and one of them still hasn't paid.

Chasing payment

Matching e-transfers to names on the list, then asking the last two at the door.

Safety forms on paper

Knives and hot stoves need a signed form, and the pile always ends up next to the cutting boards.

Cancellations after the shop

Someone drops out the night before, after you've bought their share, and there's no policy to point to.

Empty stations

Spots that never sold, and guests who forgot they'd booked.

In the kitchen

What a cooking school actually uses.

  • A booking page, then your website. Start with a link we host, and move booking onto your own site when it's ready.
  • Reminders and reports. Turn on reminders for a class and guests get an email before it starts. Revenue and tax reports are there at the end of the month.
  • Team nights. When a company wants the whole kitchen, send one link with a deposit to hold the date and the balance due later.
  • Extras at checkout. A wine pairing or an apron to take home is added when they book and paid in the same checkout, through Square or Stripe.
  • Waivers and refunds. The kitchen-safety waiver is signed at checkout. Customers see your cancellation policy before they pay, and it decides the refund if they drop out.
  • Gift cards and promo codes. A cooking class makes a good present. Sell gift cards on your booking page, or print them on your own design for the counter.
  • Cocktail and tasting classes. Bars, distilleries and wineries sell a mixology class or a guided tasting the same way: a set number of seats, a bottle to take home as an add-on, and private nights for teams.
  • Ticketing without the ticket desk. Each spot sold is a ticket for one station. The class stops selling when the stations are full, every guest gets a confirmation email, and the class roster shows who's coming.
  • Scheduling for the whole term. Set up a class once and repeat it weekly, so the term's schedule is on your booking page in one go and nothing is typed twice.
  • Courses as well as one-off nights. Sell a four-week bread course or a knife skills series as one booking, paid once, alongside your single classes.

How a term runs

From the first post to the last pasta night.

1

Set up pasta night once

Price, spots, instructor and waiver are saved with the class. Then repeat it every Thursday you're running it.

2

Post the link

Put it in your newsletter and on Instagram. Add booking to your website later if you like.

3

Guests book, pay and sign

Spots are held while they pay, so two people can't grab the last station. The confirmation email has an add-to-calendar attachment.

4

You shop and prep

You can see exactly how many are booked, so you buy for that number. Guests can get a reminder before class, and the reports show what each night made.
