Gift cards & passes

Sell bookings before customers pick a date.

Offer balance gift cards and class-pass gift cards so people can buy now and book later. Customers redeem them at checkout, and every card carries a full ledger of what was bought, used, and refunded.

Best for: studios that want gift-card and class-pass revenue, capturing sales from gift-givers and regulars before a single spot is reserved.

What it solves

Turn intent into revenue, before the calendar.

Plenty of people want to give your classes as a gift, or commit to a run of sessions, well before they know which dates work. Without gift cards and passes, that demand walks away. With them, you capture the sale up front and let the customer choose a date whenever they are ready.

FullClass supports two kinds of card: balance gift cards that spend down like store credit, and class-pass gift cards that carry a set number of sessions and are price-protected, so a pass is good for its sessions even if your prices rise later. Both redeem inside the normal checkout, and every change to value or passes is written to a ledger you can audit.

Manage everything from an admin gift-card console: search and list cards, issue new ones, set an optional expiry date, convert a balance card into a class pass or a pass back into its original balance, and even apply a card to an already-paid booking with the covered amount refunded to the customer.

What you get

Two kinds of card, one tidy ledger.

  • Balance gift cards. Sell store-credit cards that spend down toward any booking until the value runs out.
  • Class-pass gift cards. Sell a set number of sessions that customers redeem one booking at a time.
  • Price-protected passes. A class-pass card stays good for its sessions even if you raise prices after it was bought.
  • Sell from the booking widget. Turn on the "Buy gift cards" banner so customers can purchase right from your hosted booking page or embedded widget.
  • Automatic delivery email. When a card is sold, the recipient is emailed the code and any personal message automatically; if no recipient is named, the code goes to the buyer.
  • Admin gift-card console. Search, list, and issue cards, and cancel or restore one from a single place.
  • Optional expiry. Cards never expire by default; set a "valid until" date only when you want one.
  • Convert between types. Turn a balance card into a class pass, or a pass back into its original purchase amount, keeping the same code.
  • Apply to an existing booking. Add a card to an already-paid booking and refund the covered amount to the customer's original payment method.
  • Restrict to a class. Lock a card to a specific class when you want it spent on exactly that experience.
  • Redeemed at checkout. Customers apply a card during the normal booking flow, no separate redemption process.
  • Full ledger history. Every purchase, redemption, and refund is recorded so remaining value and passes are always accurate.
  • Refunds restore value. Cancel a booking and the value or pass goes back onto the card, ready to use again.
  • Balance cards cover courses. Balance gift cards can be applied to multi-session courses; class-pass cards are used for single-session bookings.
  • Applied to the whole order. A card discounts the full multi-spot order in one checkout, alongside any promo code.
How it works

From gift to booked spot.

1

Choose the card type

Decide between a balance gift card or a class-pass card, and restrict it to a class if you want.

2

Customer buys it

The card is sold from the booking widget or issued from the admin console; its starting value or session count is written to the ledger and the recipient is emailed the code automatically.

3

Redeem at checkout

When the recipient books, they apply the card and the balance or a pass is deducted as part of the order.

4

Track and adjust

Remaining value stays accurate, and a cancellation restores what was used back onto the card. From the console you can also convert a card between balance and class pass, or apply one to an existing booking with a refund.

Start simple, add the extras later.

Begin by selling balance gift cards. When you are ready, add class-pass cards and stack them with promo codes at the same checkout, all settled through your payment provider. No new setup, no migration.
