FullClass has two kinds of gift card. A balance card holds an amount of money. A class-pass card holds a set number of sessions. Sell them from your booking page or widget. A class pass can be locked to one class, and so can a card you issue yourself.
At checkout, the customer enters their code and the value comes off the total. If they cancel, whatever your cancellation policy refunds goes back on the card first. Every time a card is issued, used or refunded, it's recorded, so the balance always adds up. One catch: a class pass can't be used on a multi-session course, but a balance card can.

- Passes survive price changes. A class pass is good for a set number of sessions, so it's still worth the same classes if you raise your prices.
- Sold on your booking page. Turn on a “Buy gift cards” banner on your booking page and widget, and customers buy without calling you.
- Emails sent for you. The person receiving the gift gets their card by email, and the buyer gets a receipt.
- Locked to one class. A gift card for the pasta class can only be used on the pasta class.
- Forgot to use it? Add a gift card to a booking that's already paid, and the amount it covers is refunded the way they paid.
- Switch between money and classes. Turn an unused balance card into a class pass, and back again while it's still unused. The code stays the same.
- Cancellations put value back. Cancel a booking and whatever your cancellation policy refunds goes back on the gift card by itself.
- Every card's history. Look a card up by code, email or name to see every time it was issued, used or refunded, and cancel or restore it from the same screen.
- Bought cards don't expire. You can only set an expiry date on free promotional cards or class passes, and you can extend it any time.
